"An emperor?! Other than me?!" Deeth repeated in shock.

"What do you mean, sir?" Kelk demanded.

"Wintergreen!" Kujiv snapped. "Someone has claimed Wintergreen before this buffon!" He pointed an accusing finger at Deeth. "All the time in the world... WASTED!"

Dardarax, Golden and Cole exchanged glances, while Deeth stepped forwards in anger and confusion.

"WHO claimed the sword?" Deluvan demanded. "When? And How?"

"I could TELL you..." Kujiv snorted. He pointed his magic wand at the picture-box. "But I'll just SHOW you instead."

The picture-box came to life with a spark of magic.

"It's the Midday Chronicles, with Sir Arden Fisc and Nissti Highbelly!"

"Hey, that's Majinchi's newsfeed!" Deeth said.

"This was recorded just two days ago." Kujiv said. "Now hush up and WATCH!"

"Big news, fellow citizens of the Ex-United Kingdoms." Arden said. "After the Wintergreen Exhibit in Sunspiral Park was fully opened last week, dozens of people came pouring in to try to pull the sword from the stone."

"The Wintergreen Exhibit fully opened up?!" Golden gasped. Everyone in the room chatted amongst themselves.

"Hush up and watch!" Kujiv snapped.

"Well just this morning, we were treated to a special broadcast from Sunspiral Park!" Arden continued. "A handsome man by the name of Cuya was escorted to Sunspiral Park by none other than Senior Officer Thulun of the Majinchi Riders."

The footage cut over to a recording of a man walking down the hallway in the Sunspiral Recreation Center. The man was dressed in a black dress-suit, and wore a metal helmet over his head. When he stepped into the Wintergreen exhibit, he was applauded at by the dragon riders on duty. The man took off his helmet and faced the camera.

"Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen." The man said with an aristocratic voice. "I am Cuya, the lost heir of the Irteen Dynasty."

"What?!" Deeth exclaimed.

Cuya had freshly-cut, green hair and a short green beard. Confidence beamed from his bright, red eyes as he spoke.

"Now, some of you may question whether I speak the truth. And I understand that; it's a rather bold claim to make. So why not have an experienced officer verify that claim?"

Thulun walked around the recorder and stood beside Senior Officer Thulun. The Rider had a smug grin on his face as he spoke.

"To be an Irteen, one must have natural green hair." Thulun said to the recorder. "Not just any dye job will work; there has to be MAGIC in the hair." He turned to smiled at Cuya. "Mr. Cuya, if you'd be so kind..."

"Oh, certainly...." Cuya grinned smugly as he rose a hand into the air. He created a ball of ice, which caused waves of magic to flow through his hair. The riders in the recording gasped in delight, while everyone watching gasped in shock.

"He's an Irteen?!" Dardarax exclaimed.

"Impossible!" Kelk exclaimed.

Deeth blinked in shock an despair as Thulun started talking again.

"Our friend here has the hair. But now the REAL test begins..." Thulun pointed towards Wintergreen. "Pull the sword from the stone, Mr. Cuya."

"Don't mind if I do." Cuya walked around the exhibit and stood behind it. He grabed the handle in both hands and pulled it upwards. As he lifted Wintergreen, the cracks and glyphs on the blade glowed white. The sword slid upwards, until it finally came loose with a satisfying SCHWING.

The young riders watched in horror as Cuya pointed the sword skywards. The older riders got down on their knees and bowed, while Thulun spread his arms wide. "Behold! The Irteen Dynasty has returned!"

Cuya rested the sword on one shoulder as he shook hands with Thulun. "I'm happy to return to the kingdoms. I'd be most pleased to meet with King Raithen to tell him where I've been all this time..."

"No..." Deeth muttered.

The newsfeed switched back over to Arden and Nissti.

"After meeting with Mr. Cuya, Officer Thulun finished his investigation into the case of missing criminal Deeth Acciai. After days of searching, it was discovered that highly explosive magical weapons were stockpiled in the basement of Genn and Eric's Pizzeria."

"WHAT?!" Deeth shouted in horror. The newsfeed cut the pizzeria. Several soldiers were escorting large containers of dangerous potions and enchantments out the front doors.

"Officer Thulun has found enough evidence to convict Genn and Eric Acciai of several counts of aiding and abetting a known criminal, possession of dangerous weapons, and general deviant behavior. For these crimes, the couple have been moved to the maximum security prison of Central Majinchi, and Deeth Acciai has been named public enemy number one."

Deeth panted heavily. His arms and legs shook.

"If you have any information on Deeth Acciai's whereabouts, please contact the Majinchi Riders." Arden finished. "Until then, have a good day, Majinchi."

"Word has it that Mr. Cuya will be planning a trip across the Kingdoms, so that all can meet and greet the new Emperor." Nissti commented. "Truly, great times are ahead of us."

Ace of Spades went flying through the picture-box, destroying it. Everyone gasped as the picture-box went up in smoke.

"Son of a BITCH!" Deeth screamed. He stomped over to pry his sword out of the wreckage. "I'll KILL him! I'll fucking KILL him!"

"DEETH!" Dardarax exclaimed. "Stop it!"

Deeth pulled his sword out of the remains of the picture-box and spun around. "Thulun has gone TOO FAR! I'm gonna go back there and shove my sword up his ASS!"

Dardarax, Golden and Cole ran up and grabbed Deeth to pry the sword from him. "Get of me!"

"Deeth, calm down!" Golden shouted.

"He's going to torture my parents!"

"They didn't SAY that..."

"Of COURSE they wouldn't SAY it!"

"This is madness!" Deluvan exclaimed on the other side of the chamber. "How can there be two heirs?!"

"There aren't!" Kujiv exclaimed. "Cuya is an impostor!"

"But he pulled Wintergreen from the sword." Kelk stated.

"It must have been a trick!" Deluvan decided. "Some kind trick of magic!"

"Wintergreen was forged by a Jombus himself!" Kelk said. "It was created with binding blood-magic, so that only an Irteen could wield it. No amount of mortal magic could have tricked the sword."

Cole managed to get Ace away from Deeth, who had become too tired to fight back against the other riders.

"This is bullshit!" Deeth shouted. "I finally start believing that I might actually be the lost heir, and then THIS happens!"

"I understand your frustrations, Deeth." Kelk said.

"Well I don't!" Kujiv spat. "You had all the time in the world to draw that sword! But now you're too late! This is YOUR fault."

"MY FAULT?!" Deeth screamed. He fought even harder against Dardarax and Golden. "LET ME AT HIM! I'LL TEAR HIS POINTY EARS OFF!!!"

Dardarax, Golden and Cole dragged Deeth away from Kujiv, who only snorted.

"I don't care about faults." Deluvan said. "I've sworn my fealty to Deeth. I'll see no one else as ruler of the Empire. I'll even travel to Majinchi to vouch for Deeth's innocence and identity."

"I want go with him!" Deeth shouted. "He talks sense!"

"It's too dangerous." Kelk said. "It's what Thulun WANTS. He's probably planning an ambush for Deeth to walk into."

"Then what are we supposed to do?" Dardarax asked.

Golden's eyes went wide. "My father!"

"Eh?" Deluvan looked at Golden.

"We'll go to my father!" Golden declared. "If he sides with Deeth, we'll have some ground to convince King Raithen to listen to Deeth's side."

"Of course!" Deluvan declared. "We'll go to King Elbodin. That's perfect."

"Off with you, then." Kujiv snorted. "You've wasted way too much time already. Don't waste even more."

"Hmm..." Deluvan scratched his chin. "Actually, Sir Kujiv. I have a number of questions for you. It's half the reason I flew out here."

"What?!" Kujiv shouted. "What did I just tell you?! Don't waste any more time!"

"But Sir Kujiv, we have many questions." Kelk said. "We want to know how you managed to save five dragon eggs, as well as predict who the future riders are."

"There's no time, you twit!" Kujiv shouted. "Go skip across the sea and talk to Elbodin! NOW!"

"But sir-!"

"He's right about that!" Deeth shouted, having tired of shoving against his friends again. "The faster we get help from King Elbow-din-"

"Elbodin." Golden corrected.

"Whatever!" Deeth snapped. "The sooner we get his help, the sooner we can go back to Majinchi so I can kick Thulun's ass!"

Kelk and Deluvan exchanged glances. The dwelf sighed. "Very well. We leave for King Elbodin's Palace. Perhaps you had best come with us, Sir Kujiv."

"No!" The old elf shouted. "I have to stay HERE, and plan for a few things!"

"But Sir-!"

"Sir me again, and I'll smack you one!" Kujiv shouted. "Now quit wasting time and GET GOING!"

"Got it!" Deeth shouted. He threw open the door and ran into the hallway... only to come back a moment later. "Uh... does anyone know how to create a torch spell?"
Oh no! A new green-haired man? Who could he be?!
